Standing Desk with Drawers, 63 x 28 in - Black
The widest storage desk here, 63 inches, with two drawers, an open cubicle and a monitor riser built in.

A room with nowhere to put books
Drawers are the default answer to desk storage and they are the wrong one for anybody whose clutter is books rather than paperwork. This model trades the drawer unit for an open bookshelf under the top, rated to 154 lbs, plus a cubicle and a raised monitor stand. Everything travels with the desk, so a shelf of books is still at the same relative height whether the desk is sitting or standing.
The shelf assembly is the long part and it wants a flat floor and a square check. Build the shelf, measure both diagonals before the final tightening, then attach it to the underside. Load the books only after the desk has been run through its full travel once, because a shelf that fouls the column is far easier to find empty.

Figures as published for this model. Anything that has never been published is left out rather than estimated.
The same figures as every other page in this section, lined up against the section itself. Being the biggest at something is not the same as being the best at it, so the last column says where a number puts this model and leaves the judgement to you.
| Figure | This model | All 13 desks | Where that puts it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top width | 55 in | 40 to 71 in | Wider than 5 of the other 12 |
| Top depth | 28 in | 23.6 to 30 in | Deeper than 7 of the other 12 |
| Lowest height | 27.9 in | 27.9 to 28.35 in | The highest of the 13 |
Ranges cover only the desks that publish the figure at all; a model that has never published one is left out of that row rather than counted as a zero.
Of the 13 desks in this section this is the ninth cheapest: 8 cost less, 4 cost more, and the section runs from $139.99 to $359.99.
There is no figure here on which it beats everything cheaper in the section, so if none of the 8 below it is missing something you need, the difference is colour, top size or finish rather than capability.
It carries 78 customer reviews at 4.3 out of five, with 8 of the other 12 rated higher. Those numbers come from the retail listing and are reproduced rather than curated, including when they are unflattering.
