What it is for
Every other item here is black, white, grey or wood, which makes a blue chair the one deliberate colour decision available. In a studio, a workshop or a room that is otherwise entirely neutral, that is worth something: the chair becomes the accent instead of another dark shape. Function is identical to the other two, with the same 300 lb rating and the same footring.
Check before you order. The blue is a solid, saturated colour rather than a muted one, and it will not read as a neutral in photographs or in a room with a strong existing palette. Look at the colour image before committing if the room already has a scheme.
What assembly actually means
Same twenty-minute assembly as the rest of the chairs. Because this is the version most likely to be bought for a room where it will be seen, take the moment to check the seat is square to the base before the first sit; a seat mounted a few degrees off is invisible until the chair is beside something rectangular.
What it changes
